When you’re preparing for a ski trip, you might get so carried away with planning and packing everything that you’ll need for when you’re actually skiing, that you might forget that you need alternative clothing to wear during the evenings!

The first thing to remember is that although the restaurants and bars will be very warm, you still have to get to and from your accommodation, so wearing heels or just a t-shirt probably isn’t a very good idea! Some resorts will be fancy, but for the majority, a jumper and jeans with a pair of walking boots should do the trick.

When you’re out skiing, it’s best to wear multiple layers, but if you’re going to a restaurant or a bar, it’s best to wear one or two larger layers, such as a ski jacket. This way, once you’re inside, you can take off just a couple of layers, as opposed to peeling off a multitude of sweaty layers – not nice!
