I never thought I would enjoy ski touring with my husky as it worried me, but I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Not only did my husky dog enjoy it, but I found the whole experience to be very peaceful and calming. Here's a quick rundown of our ski-touring adventure.

It was a cold winter morning when we took Charlie out for a spin. We had been waiting for a fresh layer of snow so that the conditions would be perfect. And finally, that day had arrived. As soon as we stepped outside, the snow dog was ready to go. He was eager to get moving and explore his new surroundings.

We started off slow, just getting a feel for how he handled the snow. But soon enough, we were picking up speed and cruising down the mountain. The snow dog was a natural, and he made ski touring effortless. It was like we were one with the mountain. We stopped several times along the way to take in the breath-taking views.

The snow-capped mountains stretched out before us as far as the eye could see. It was an unforgettable experience. One that we will cherish forever. At the top of the mountain, we stopped for a well-deserved break. Charlie looked like he was having the time of his life.

After taking in the view for a few minutes, we started back down the mountain. By this time, Charlie was getting pretty tired, so I took him on my shoulders for the final stretch.

We've had a lot of fun with our pup over the last three months while staying in England. He is capable of off-leash hiking and loves running along by water or taking hikes up high, but we always make sure to keep an eye out for any tourists, so they don't think something's wrong!

It is essential to consider what gear to bring when ski touring with your dog. Obviously, you'll need skis, poles, and boots, but there are a few other things you should bring along as well. The first thing you need is a good backpack that will fit all of your gear and your dog's food and water bowl.

You should also have a First aid kit for both humans and your little friend. And last but not least, don't forget a camera! After all, what's the point of taking your dog skiing if you're not going to document it?

Skiing is a great way to enjoy the winter months, and it's even better when you can bring your furry friend along for the ride. Thanks for joining me on this journey of my recent ski tour with my husky dog, Charlie. If you have a husky (or similar snow dog), don't hesitate to take them skiing with you, they'll love it!
