OK, yesterday we set ourselves the challenge of seeing just how little it would cost to equip the “naked rambler” from Outdoor Look. This would at the very least enable him to be a little more modestly covered during his country excursions. Well we've crunched the numbers and from a large range of options here's some suggestions.

If we begin at the bottom so to speak. We could start with a new pair of walking boots so how about the Outdoor Look Horizon walking boots at £13.29. Not bad to start with but what about some modesty protecting trousers you all cry! Well before the trousers let’s get some base layers to increase warmth and protection on these cold wintery days. Here at Outdoor Look we’ve got the Potter base layer set for £15.49. That’s a base layer set so there’s a top and a bottom with the set keeping you warm top to toe and killing two birds with one stone. Now on to the vexing issue of a pair of trousers. May we recommend the Regatta New Action trousers at an incredible £17.99  Finally how about a nice waterproof jacket, may we recommend the Regatta Royden Jacket at a mind boggling £21.85.

Now if I’ve done my sums correctly that leaves you fairly well equipped for a remarkable £68.62.

With our amazing prices you could also  throw in a shirt or a sweatshirt and some accessories and still have change from £100. Looking at the prices you can equip yourself with from Outdoor Look it really does make you wonder if the naked rambler has another reason for not wearing a sensible walking outfit. I guess he must have some sort of a different agenda!
