John Clarke started his running last month and mastered it in a short period of time. He went on to revealing some of the secrets of his through which he used to ace his spree of running.

When asked about his ways he confessed that he had done a few fitness things over the years. He was into CrossFit and then he got into Strongman. He used to still hate running for years. It was only after few years of running that he actually got into trail running. Initially it was a way to get clear of my daily thoughts and idea which keep on embarking my mind. After a few years, I got into the love of trail running and finally signed up for a trail marathon. The suit was later followed by more and more races.

Following are 8 Things Which he Tried to Elaborate by Giving the Details of his Learning From his Running Spree:

  • Get a running plan which suits you in every way. Try getting a friend or coach who can guide you well on your training plans. This will ease the pressure of thinking on a suitable plan. You will be left with the option of executing those plans in a proper way. The work and family will come in the way of running but consistency holds the key. A perfect balance has to be sought between those two spheres of life.
  • Pick a type of race which you want to do. It may be hilly, flat or even the middle of the city. Choose the one which you will thoroughly enjoy.
  • Give proper attention to the race nutrition. See what your body can handle. What is that which can give your body proper nutrition to sustain and what is that which makes it drained in a shorter span of time.
  • Take care of the fact that you never leave anyone behind if anyone is injured. Cooperation helps in the survival in longer periods of time. Even if it means side lining your plan for helping the injured person. This can be viewed as the spirit of a sportsperson.
  • You need to compliment your race marshals in every possible way. If it hadn’t been these persons, then you probably wouldn’t have been able to ace the race.
  • Walking is perfectly fine after you have raced through a distance. Running the whole distance isn’t a cakewalk. So, it’s better if you do what is suited to your body.
  • Be tough. You can always do more than what you think. Do not give up easily. Try pushing the limits. You never know how much you can ace unless you stretch your limits.

Precisely, running is not a one-time affair. Rather it is one of those things in which practice plays a crucial role.
