Helly Hansen is a supplier of various items of outdoor clothing, from jackets and fleeces to footwear, accessories and bags. Let’s have a look at our selection of jackets!

Helly Hansen was founded way back during the nineteenth century, in the year 1877 by Helly Juell Hansen. Helly had been at sea for twenty one years when he and his wife began to produce clothing at the age of thirty five. Using coarse linen soaked in linseed oil, both Helly and Maren Margarethe began to create oilskin jackets, trousers, sou’westers and tarpaulins – of which they sold more than ten thousand items during the first five years. Just a year after the company was founded, it won a ‘diploma for excellence’ at the Paris Expo, which led them to begin selling their products abroad; which certainly would have helped to boost their sales!

Leiv Helly-Hansen took control of the business in 1914 after the death of his father and in the 1920’s the company developed Linox which is now known as PVC.

Included in our Helly Hansen range, we have a choice of forty nine jackets, consisting of twenty nine for ladies, eighteen for men and two for children.

The ladies ‘Hilton’ jacket is our current best seller and is ideal for keeping you nice and warm when you’re out and about. Made from a combination of polyester and nylon and complimented with hydrophilic lamination, this jacket is insulated by using Warmcore by PrimaLoft® – designed to keep you warm.

Our most popular jacket for men is ideal for those who are likely to go walking when the weather isn’t as nice as we may like! The ‘Nine’ jacket is waterproof, windproof and breathable, which instantly makes it a great option to combat the rain. It is also fully seam sealed, lined, and has a front storm flap, adjustable cuffs and YKK zips on the front and hand pockets.

Our complete range of Helly Hansen jackets, as well as our complete range of Helly Hansen products are available now on our website, at low prices! Orders over the cost of £50 receive free shipping. If you have any questions, please do leave a comment below or message us on Facebook or Twitter!
