One of the best holidays I have experiences was along the coast of Britain. The coast has so much to offer whether it be a rocky clifftop walk or a fun day exploring the caves. I had so much fun at different coastal locations this summer and bring to you some handy tips on how to ensure you have the best time along the coast in the great British weather.

Pack suitably – When packing for a coastal trip it is important to take into account the weather. Personally I would pack sweatshirt and jacket in case the weather gets a little chilly with the sea breeze. If you are going in the summer pack a bikini and your favourite sunscreen lotion ensuring you stay safe whilst having fun in the sea.

Eat locally – Explore and indulge in delicious treats that you can find locally. Eating in little cafes and bakery houses are one of my favourite things to do. You may end up indulging in something so good that you will want to come back in the future for more!

Over night camping may be an option – Sometimes there is so much to do that you cannot fit it into one day. Why not prepare to camp or have knowledge of the local hotels before you leave for your trip.

There are some great campsites which I visited and below I have mentioned two which I highly recommend if you plan on visiting the coast this summer:

Three Cliffs Bay Campsite –This welsh campsite gives you a view of three peaks of limestone of the Welsh Bay. This place gives you an option to camp on the green cliffside with a small path leading towards the beach.

Troytown Campsite – The Isles of Scilly is also a great spot for camping. It is one of the most beautiful places I have seen and you can explore not one, but multiple islands. With white sand beaches and flower farms to explore, you can spend days just relaxing and eating good food.

The coastal areas are full of adventures and memorable experiences you can spend a lifetime enjoying.
