Choose the best winter jacket to stay toasty

The choice of a winter jacket solely depends on the taste and preferences of the wearer. I like to stay active in the winters and generally go for lighter garments. My wife does not move around too much when the mercury hits rock bottom and stays happy in her not so expensive fleece jackets. Kids are happy with whatever I buy them as long as they get my help in building their snowmen. I do make an informed decision every time before choosing their clothes. The winter apparel market is flooded with a myriad of products which makes the selection process quite difficult. There is no set formula for being right every time in your choice but I do have my personal favorites which I would like to share with you.
Fleece Jacket for Leisure Lovers
Fleece jackets are not bulky, but provide immense warmth. These jackets are not too heavy on the pocket and can be bought at attractive prices. If you enjoy leisurely filled winters, fleece jackets are perfect for you. Although Fleece isn't an insulating fabric, it still acts as an insulator in 3-in-1 jackets because of its amazing heating power. Buy it, if you like to hunt or stroll or just chill out at the nearest pub during winters.
Soft Shell Jackets for Satiating Your Snow Lust
If you like to take on winters head on and relish its challenges, you should buy soft shell jackets. These jackets are water-repellent and abrasion resistant. With the protection of these jackets you can indulge in alpine sports such as cross-country skiing and snowshoeing and stay warm while doing these activities. This is quite a versatile jacket as it can easily double up as an around-town jacket providing you a sporty look.
Vests Are the Best
If you like to keep your core warm and still want the freedom of movement in your arms, purchase a vest with eyes closed. Your body receives ample warmth with vests and you do not get bogged down with heavy arms. When your heart will be pumping on a cross-country ski trail, vests will provide you the best protection, there is no doubt about that.
Pullover for Fitness Enthusiasts
There is nothing better than a pullover if you are a fitness freak who sticks to his regimen, even in winters. Made with moisture-wicking fabrics pullovers have features like MP3 player pockets and thumbhole cuffs to keep you moving in the cold. After a hectic gym session, your pullover will keep you warm and won’t add much bulk to your body with its lightweight build material.
Waterproof Insulating Jacket for Wetness Proofing
If you are a ski enthusiast, waterproof insulation is a must for you. When the snow is falling down on you, you need a trustworthy jacket which can keep you dry. Any sort of water leakage into the body can lead to the onset of hypothermia, which in some cases could be fatal. Waterproof Insulating Jacket can be a life saver in such circumstances. These jackets are wind and tear resistant, which lets them stay functional even in the harshest conditions. Generally, these jackets come in the form of a 3-in-one jacket.
A 3-in-1 jacket consists of an insulating jacket, made in fabrics like fleece that zips into a waterproof shell. These versatile jackets are perfect for your kids. After you purchase a 3-in-1 jacket, you do not have to worry about buying multiple jackets every year for their growing body.
