The UK is full of beautiful places to visit and gain some of the best experiences. One of the best parts of this country are the wildlife spots where you can take a walk with your family and friends. Plan an amazing “Summer Day Out” and make the most of it.

To help you out a bit, we have jotted down a list of top wildlife destinations where you can explore nature and varied wildlife–

Valley of Derwent – If you are keen on taking a tour of local wildlife, this place is a must-visit. When you take a stroll through Peak District, you are likely to encounter beautiful creatures like Pacific Golden Plovers and some Mountain Hares. You will also get to experience the vast captivating landscape when you visit Moorland or Farm Land.

Bolt Head – Around Salcombe, Devon take a 4.5-mile long walk where you will get to experience a walk by the sea. Take a stroll while breathing fresh air amidst farm lands and beautiful landscapes. If you are travelling with your kids, take them to the Soar Mill Cove and around the rocky cliff so that they can explore all they want.

Boscastle and the Valency Valley – In the mood for a scenic view? Take a walk around the seaside village of Boscastle in the cornish cliffs above which will take you closer to the ocean and wildlife where you get to observe a lot of different creatures. Start your journey from the Boscastle Park and visit places like Willapark, Coast Watch Tower, and Meachard!

Compton Bay – Take a trip around the Isle of Wight where you can go on many walks on the beach and try out surfing if you get the opportunity. Campton Bay offers if full of wildlife and you can see butterflies sitting peacefully. Apart from that, you would also be able to catch a glimpse of flora adorning the entire area.

Take a Trail around Sticklebarn Blea – Relax and breathe in the fresh air of Cumbria as it awaits to give you the perfect view of Blea Tarn where the trail run is short but full of good things to see. This makes the trail one of the best options when you are travelling with kids. The reason behind the serene and calmness of this place is that it hasn’t been touched in many years. Just go there, sit on a rock and observe wildlife doing its own thing.

Wildlife of Cornwall – The slopes of the Helman Tor has much to visit, whether it be the dry and wet heathland, habitats, oak woodland, grassland, willow and so many beautiful ponds! This 5-mile trail surrounds you with sundews and birdsong where there are a lot of damselflies and dragonflies.
